Ever felt dizzy, tired, out of breath and losing energy? You might just be feeling light-headed and there are a lot of causes to that. It can either be a mild one or a severe one but being able to get rid of it early would help prevent any complications to your organs. It can either be caused by anemia, low blood sugar or dehydration. There ways to get rid of that feeling.
First, hydrate yourself. Increase your fluid intake and drink plenty of water. Since 50 percent of our organs are made of water, hydration can help prevent and rid yourself of light-headedness. Lack of water can lead to being out of breath or feel light-headed or possibly faint because your lungs are 90 water and your brain is 70 percent water as well.
Taking in foods rich in iron as well as iron supplements can raise your blood count. One of the main causes of being light-headed is anemia where you lack blood count or iron in your blood. The usual symptoms you see in an anemic person is being dizzy, always tired, rapid heart beat, having shortness of breath and being light-headed. Get a check-up right away if you have these symptoms.
Lastly, raise your blood sugar by eating foods rich in sugar. Even though you may be taking daily consumption of food, some people skip meals and some also alter their diet that can get them lacking in sugar in their blood stream. This lack of sugar can cause hypoglycemia and the ones that are experiencing it feel dizzy, drowsy, have no energy and are light-headed. You can get rid of that feeling by eating sugar-rich foods like candy bars or even just a hard candy. These are simple ways to get rid of that light-headed feeling. Treat the cause and you will be able to treat the feeling.
